2:50 am	People are strange, when you're a stranger... I wish there were more furries in my area to find dating opportunities with. *sigh* It's very quiet 'round here. Plus my left arm kinda aches tonight, for some reason. Meh. Oh the plus side, this week has been peaceful thus far, and I've had some fun. 9:42 pm	Wendy, I can fly! I hate that freakin' speed bump in the neighborhood near where I live! It's not designated well, and it was almost impossible to see in the rather snowy weather we're having at the moment...so, I wound up going for a momentary flight. Now, what's important to understand is that this isn't any ordinary speed bump...this is the Almighty Speed Bump of DOOM. This bastard is a foot high and 4 fucking feet wide. I'm not joking. On top of that, I was going 20mph, already 5 under the limit...and this damn thing bounced me like a bad check. Fortunately, the shocks took it, and my car's okay...but that really pissed me off. Speed bumps that big should be illegal. Mayor: "Excuse me, miss jackal...uh, miss? What are you doing standing on our neighborhood's speed bump? ...and why do I hear water spla-...AAH!" 7:12 pm	Wedding Fritters Wow, a friend of mine sure is having a tough time of things right now. He's going to be marrying a very sweet girl, and he's got his life in good order...the problem is with her parents. They're unhappy about the wedding plans, but they won't talk to their daughter about it which makes her confused and unhappy, and then she asks my friend what to do and he doesn't know either, but she's upset so that makes him upset because he (naturally) cares about her feelings. Ah well, I'm sure they'll work it out. Right now, it's almost time for Smallville and Angel on TV! I love those shows... Current Mood: confused (6 Comments |Comment on this)

2:41 pm	Game Over Well, I finally got around to beating Conker's Bad Fur Day. Considering the irreverantly amusing tone of the whole game, the ending really caught me by surprise. 2:04 pm	This is just stupid... Everyone wants equal rights. The religions want it, the different races of humanity want it, gay and straight people both want it, all the countries want it...but you know what? It ain't happening. It's impossible. EVERYONE can't have TOTALLY equal rights, because their rights would include their personal and religious beliefs, which invariably conflict with those of others. It's a fact of life, but everyone wants to bitch about it and say it's not fair. Well tough shit, life's not fair, get the f*ck over it. Everyone should spend more time just being happy and giving others their space instead of trying to make sure that the scales of life are always balanced. Forget the politics, forget the lawsuits...the amount of discrimination in America is lower now than it ever has been, anyway. Stop pushing. Stop demanding. 2:37 pm	Happy New Year! Well, here it is 2004, and this is my first ever LJ entry. Whoo! After a vacation up in Canada with old friends there (who own this beautiful ranch and two nice horsies, a black mare and a dapple-grey stallion), a nice Christmas with family and friends, and a bootie-kicking New Year's party...it's good to be relaxing at home, getting back in the swing of things. I have to go back to work Monday, but it's all good. I've certainly gotten in more than my share of partying this holiday season (I'm going to another one tonight, in fact), and even my car is almost 1/3 of the way paid-off. Yay!
